Light Bars are available in four profiles - 27mm, 32mm, 38mm and 44mm diameters - as shown above. Typical spacings for the fibre tails are between 50mm and 100mm.

Light Bars can be supplied as a straight tube with the fibre tails emerging from one or both ends, or can be manufactured as part of a gantry system.

Our range of Light Bars are made to order, to the sizes you specify, and come as standard in either black or white or they can be powder coated to your specified RAL colour.

The UFO34D eyeball is always supplied in black, however the trumpets can be painted to a custom colour to match the light bar.

Trumpets are available in 2 styles - A, shown below top, and B shown below, bottom. Trumpet A gives a narrow beam of light whilst trumpet B produces a wider beam.

Light Bars can be supplied with either standard 30mm or mini 12.5mm or 14mm common ends. Where a mini common end is used, a 30mm adaptor, as shown below, is required to fit a standard light source.

Mini common ends allow for more than one independently removable tube to be connected to a light source and require a smaller hole to pass through for easier installation. A maximum of three 12.5mm mini common ends and two 14mm mini common ends can be connected to one 30mm common end.

Maximum points of light per light bar using 2mm or 3mm fibre in fittings with optional 1.5mm or 1.8mm points for infill* with a single 30mm common end and tails from one end.

When using a mini common end connector the maximum tails per bar is 10 of 3mm fibre or 26 of 2mm fibre. Where infill points * are used, reduce the maximum number of fittings proportionally.

A number of different types of accessory brackets are available for Light Bars.

The Round Brackets are for vertical or horizontal mounting of tubes/bars. The tube is locked with a grub screw. They are also available round with either one straight side or two straight sides to allow mounting as close as possible to a flat surface or in a corner.

Square Brackets are for surface mounting tubes horizontally or vertically and come as split halves.

Clip Brackets allow for horizontal mounting and the stand-off can be extended using threaded rod. These can be fitted on site to both tubes and bars.

Aa well as the brackets detailed below, we can incorporate light tubes into gantry systems, allowing them to be stood off from the mounting surface.
